Originally completed in 1913 as a summer escape for a prominent fruit-farming family, this remarkable villa stands as a beautifully preserved piece of South Africa’s architectural heritage. It is an interesting example of a courtyard-style beach home, where an inviting inner courtyard creates a warm welcome and flow between spaces. Beautifully crafted teak windows and doors pierce the thick, whitewashed walls, framing picture-perfect views. Shutters offer both charm and practicality, securing the home when not in use.
